About Me
Since I was child I have been interested in everything machine. From watching Mighty Machines on Saturday morning to helping Grandpa build his hot rod, I could not get enough of machines. This affinity combined with my competence within Math and Physics in school is what lead me into Mechanical Engineering.
Outside of school, I enjoy working on personal projects that allow me to apply what I have learned in my Engineering Degree. From repairing and upgrading my own vehicles to assisting my family with their house-building business my life pretty much revolves around fixing and building machines.
Being enrolled in Engineering has as well allowed me to secure a 16-month student term working as a Reliability Engineering Student on the CNRL Horizon Oil Sands plant. Here I was able to use my practical and theoretical knowledge to quickly learn the systems and how we can best maintain them.

Looking ahead, I aim to continue building my expertise in All fields of Mechanical Engineering. I am also interested in advancing my technical toolkit by branching my outlook to not just Mechanical Engineering but electrical and software as well including emerging technologies such as AI, which I believe can play an important role in optimizing engineering Roles.
